Power Rangers Action Card Game Series #1-4 (2013)

Given that toku fans in the West don't have access to Dice-O machines, it was a serious boon (for those of us who like cards) that BoA saw fit to release the four waves of the Power Rangers Action Card Game. These not only reproduced some Dice-O cards, but also provided many Western exclusives! Best of all, some of them are straight up Gosei Cards!!! I'll list some notables below the cut, by wave, but I'll gladly mention the highlights for a Goseiger (and Shinkenger and Go-Onger) fan like myself:
  • I like the female molds, but the male Ultra Megaforce molds are a bit too bulky, for me.
  • Outside of sofubis and cell phone straps, Super female Shinkengers are hard to come by. I'm not sure a Super Kaoru exists, at all.
  • The above may be the ONLY physical piece of Hyper Go-On Red merchandise.
Basically, for forms that are hard or impossible to get physical representation of otherwise—or for ones that exist unsatisfactorily to one's personal tastes—these series are great. Also, if you're in the market for the most central Gosei Cards. There is a place online selling a lot of these cards individually, if you look hard enough. Otherwise, I imagine you can think of something~

These cards will not fit in the Tensouder.
Gosei Cards do fit in the US version, however, for delightfully random effects.

4 Locked Doors Blissfully Dissolved Out of Existence out of 5

Before going into this, know that these series deliver most of the Gosei Weapon, Machine, and Headder cards. There are two additional purchases to make to get the Skick Sword and Dragon Headder cards, but otherwise those categories are completed for the main team in the ACG. There are a few more individual Gosei cards SUPPOSEDLY out there. These floaters are listed on the official website under the tab of 'Toy Cards.' They claim that they produced Eri's Summon Miracle Gosei Power card, but it ended up being the generic card of Super Gosei/Ultra Megaforce Pink that was included with the regularly painted version of that figure. I know, because I own it and it's the same code: P-054.

The official site has visual lists of the first three series (but not Legends Unite). This page should help with the toy and promotional cards.

You predictably have a bit of choice when it comes to the male Super Goseigers, and all of the regular Goseigers, as this series was tied to the American adaptation of their series and there's a plethora of cards for them in all four of the card sets. There are other cards worth looking into, if you're alright with having ones that are not necessarily screen-accurate. This is especially true of the robos; I have a Gosei Jet Megazord card in my display for Nozomu.

From all I've seen, there's no Super or Hyper Shinken Gold. But, again, they're not something I readily expect to be tackled, anywhere. Though, there was a Super Shinken Gold Dice-O card from Gokaiger's era of the game.

* This was released in Japan. I assume it was via Dice-O machines.
