S.H. Figuarts Nasca (2010)

I'd all but forgotten that I owned this! The basic story is much the same as with my Figuarts CycloneJoker, but I actually did somewhat break this one! Right out of the package, a careful enough movement of one of his arms sent its shoulder-pad flying. It went back on, but not nearly as securely as most of them do. It proceeded to fall off at the slightest provocation for the rest of the time that I had the figure. Further, the scarves have to fit onto balljoints located in very cramped spaces. I believe they could become loose over time, if you manipulate them enough, or continually take them on and off. Frankly, it's simply another failure in W's tragic history of Figuarts.

Just get Accel and go play Illusion of Gaia.

Power Rangers Action Card Game
Universe of Hope Starter Deck (2013)

I know, I know, symmetry is king.
But, I still think I would have gone with Hyper Shinken Red.

Right now, these can be found amidst the Ninja Steel and Power Rangers movie merch that is currently clogging up the shelves of a US outlet chain. Its name starts with the letter 'O.' And, if you're a fan of Goseiger/Megaforce or Shinkenger/Samurai, I think you should consider getting one. The reason is very simple: this contains cards for the Super forms of both teams, as well as ones for Gosei Knight, Genta, and DaiGoyou! Or, Robo Knight, Antonio, and Lightzord. Representations of all of those characters, in one super cheap box!!

I'll list the complete contents below the cut, and ramble some more.

Grab one of these to put them in, if you decide to bite.

Hero Patrol: Precincts—Central Intelligence Agency
1:64 Scale 2010 Chevy Tahoe (2012)

2012, eh? I love it when things feel like destiny~ This is the weightiest model vehicle I've ever held, at this scale. The windows aren't tinted, but the interior creates the illusion that they are, when you aren't holding it at eye-level to peer straight through them. The front doors and the back hatch open to reveal said (detailed) interior and a set of chests with painted handles/latches! The hatch will open partially if you hold it vertically, but, just don't hold it up at 90°... The wheels probably aren't rubber, but they feel rubberized, and they're treaded! It's a little sluggish to roll, but that's because of the heft.

Look, I wanted an E.M.C.-05. Yes, I am crazy, but I'm proud of that.

Guilty as charged, Milady~

The Lone Wolf and Cub Collection

Also sometimes referred to as the 'Baby Cart' series, the Lone Wolf and Cub films tell the story of a skilled rōnin (sword for hire) named Ogami Ittō (Tomisaburo Wakayama). They're characterised by extreme acts of violence, minimal dialogue and highly stylised framing that closely resembles the manga it's based on. When not dishing out vicious and bloody samurai action to the people that deserve it, Ogami wheels his young son Daigoro (Tomikawa Akihiro) from place to place in an iconic wooden baby cart.
The journey of the pair in the original six films was cut short before it could end naturally, but please don't let that put you off from watching. There's more than enough bloodshed and vengeance to satisfy fans of the genre. If you do need closure, then Kazuo Koike's original manga can provide it.

The original six films on In a Nutshell:
01. Sword of Vengeance (1972)
02. Baby Cart at the River Styx (1972)
03. Baby Cart to Hades (1972)
04. Baby Cart in Peril (1972)
05. Baby Cart in the Land of Demons (1973)
06. White Heaven in Hell (1974)

Other LW+C films on In a Nutshell:
07. Shogun Assassin (1980) (US cut and dub)
08. Lone Wolf and Child: Assassin on the Road to Hell (1989)
09. Lone Wolf and Cub: Final Conflict (1992)
